Le sigue Megan Thee Stallion, con seis, aunque otros fuertes contendientes son Billie Eilish, BTS, Doja Cat, Drake, Giveon y Lil Nas X. Los fans podrán votar por sus favoritos en 14 categorías, visitando vma.mtv.com desde ahora y hasta el viernes 3 de septiembre. La ceremonia se realizará el domingo 12 de septiembre, en Nueva York, y se transmitirán en vivo desde el Barclays Center a 180 países en todo el mundo.
Será una de las primeras ceremonias de premios con público en vivo en aquella ciudad, por lo que el comunicado agrega que la salud y seguridad de artistas, fans, staff y acompañantes serán la prioridad.
